BIO

 

André ATANGANA, born in 1989 in the Parisian suburbs, began dancing at a very young age before turning to visual arts as an adult.

 

Renowned for his work as part of the creative duo André & François, he has photographed numerous celebrities, including Bella Hadid, Gaspard Ulliel, and Penelope Cruz.

 

In 2015, he photographed the iconic image of Olivier Rousteing nude for the cover of Têtu magazine, paying homage to Yves Saint Laurent.

 

In the music world, André has worked with artists such as Kiddy Smile, Jeanne Added, and Hercules & Love Afair.

 

On the catwalk, he has danced and walked for Martin Margiela, Isabel Marant, and Virgil Abloh.

 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, his artistic world was discovered by Nick Knight, who selected his fashion film "CLUSTER" for the SHOWSTUDIO Fashion Film Showcase 2022.

 

In 2025, after a residency encompassing photography, video, dance, and music, he presented his first multimedia exhibition at the "Nouveau Printemps de Toulouse," focusing on the theme of Black displacement.

 

Today, André aims to bring together all his influences and artistic disciplines into a single, unified rhythm.
